What is Miranda's place?
Miranda's place is a women's home focused on survivor's of Domestic Violence and Sex trafficking. The home is named after a dear friend Miranda Streed. Miranda's life was tragically taken in 2017. Shortly after her death, God laid it on Heather Smith's heart to open a woman's home in her honor. Miranda had such a love for Jesus. She shared that love by helping women see their worth and not feel alone in their situations. It is our mission to keep Miranda's legacy alive by providing a safe place for women to heal , while discovering their identity in Christ - taking their power back and walking boldly in the authority Jesus died to give them.

Who was Miranda?
God gave Miranda’s dad a prophetic word over her when she was little
and it was a promise that he held onto even when Miranda was going
through hard times. It was that “Her NAME would be great among the
nations” The name Miranda means: “worthy of adoration” , wonderful, adored one, unique and amazing. It is our prayer as a family that every woman that comes through Miranda’s Place would know that no matter what they have been through, this is their identity...

We serve the Jehovah Rapha, God our provider! He is the one who shuts the mouths of lions, owns the cattle on a thousand hills, provides the coin in the fishes mouth and always blesses a cheerful giver!
